    WHAT WE DO
    OUR PROGRAMS

We center climate-impacted communities through clean energy projects, policy advocacy, and education.

    POLICY ADVOCACY

We advocate for policies that prioritize a community-led energy revolution.

    ORGANIZING

We partner with communities to build accessible, affordable clean energy.

    EDUCATION

We share community resources and events build the movement to revolutionize the energy system.

    How?

Energy Allies catalyzes community-led energy projects through community solar policy and energy justice educational resources in climate-impacted communities.

    Why?

Community-led energy is an innovative solution to our unreliable, expensive, and dangerous energy grid.

This is an opportunity for us to uplift communities by bringing them along in advocating for policies and also just supporting the work like a war effort where we are mobilizing all communities of people for the fight of climate change and decarbonization."

    OUR STORY

In 2014, we were founded by Steph Speirs and Sandhya Murali, on the belief that every household should be able to access affordable clean energy. Since our founding, our board seats a majority of women of color. In 2022 and beyond, our Executive Director Yesenia Rivera leads us in centering climate-impacted communities through clean energy projects, policy, and education.
