  • Applicant must list community-based organizations in support of the project
  • Demonstrated community engagement through outreach, education, and recruitment
  • Roof must be in good condition/foundation must be able to support the array and cannot be in a flood zone
  • Households with 80% or less than AMI based on county and household size
  • Single non-profits or public facilities can serve as “anchor tenants” and receive the same savings rate as income-eligible households and cannot have more than 40% of the project
  • No upfront costs
  • Subscription costs cannot be more than 50% of community solar credits
  • Approved vendors must share brochures including contract details with participants at least 7 days before signing
  • Participants that move within the same electric utility can keep their subscription or transfer it to another customer
  • Participants that move outside of the utility territory can cancel their subscription
