COMMUNITY SOLAR PROGRAMS

  • Must be located in OR service territory of Pacific Power, Portland General Electric, or Idaho Power
  • Nameplate capacity between 25kW-3MW
  • Projects must have at least 5 different participants
  • Must be a retail electric customer within OR service territories
  • Participants share cannot exceed their average annual electricity consumption
  • Single participant cannot own/subscribe to more than 40% of a project
  • Income-qualifying customers are guaranteed 40% bill savings
  • Early termination fees are prohibited for low-income participants and cannot exceed 50% of annual bill credit value for others
  • Customers must be allowed to keep their subscription if moving within their service area
  • Participants can cancel contracts and receive a full refund within 3 business days of signing
